To measure whether the output voltage of the power supply is stable, players usually use a multimeter, but it is still a bit troublesome for ordinary users. This power supply tester only needs to connect to the ATX connector of the power supply to easily and intuitively know whether the output of the power supply is normal. This includes a POWER GOOD signal that we cannot detect with a multimeter (POWER GOOD signal means that after the power is supplied, a POWER GOOD signal needs to be provided to the motherboard, and then the motherboard will start the self-test program. If the power output is normal, POWER GOOD When the GOOD signal is abnormal, the system cannot be turned on.) The POWER GOOD of this power supply tester can test whether the signal output is normal or not.
This new ATX power tester can test: 4PIN/6PIN/8PIN, HDD power interface/SATA power interface, FLOPPY (floppy drive power connector), 20PIN/24PIN, powerful.
Power supply tester manual:
1. Supply power to the power supply to be tested
2. Insert the 24P (20P) plug of the power supply to be tested into the corresponding 24P (20P) socket of the power tester
3. Check if the seven lights on the right (+3.3, -12V, PG, +5VSB, +12V, -5V, +5V) are on, all on is better
4. Insert the HDD plug of the power supply to be tested into the HDD socket of the power supply tester, and check whether the two lights (+12, +5V) on the left are on, all on is good
5. Pull out the HDD plug from the power tester, and then insert the P4 (P6/P8) plug into the corresponding P4 (P6/P8) socket, check whether the left light (+12V) is on, and it’s better if it’s on
6. Pull out the P4 (P6/P8) plug from the power tester, and then insert the FLOPPY (floppy drive) plug into the corresponding FLOPPY socket, check whether the two lights (+12V, +5V) on the left are on, all on is better
7. Pull out the FLOPPY plug from the power tester, and then insert the SATA plug into the corresponding SATA socket. Check whether the three lights on the left (+12V, +3.3V, +5V) are on, all on is better.
