How to Use Compatible Ink for Epson Printers?

1.Turn on the printer and wait until it proceeds through its setup process and the printer head stops moving.

2.Press the "Setup" button on the printer's control pad. Navigate through the menu until you've highlighted the "Maintenance" option. Select "Maintenance" and then select "Ink replacement."

3.Til open the printer lid fully to access the printer interior, and then lift the cartridge cover to access the printer cartridges.

4.Press the small tab on the end of the cartridge you wish to replace with the compatible ink cartridge and pull the cartridge from the cartridge holder. Note the positioning of the cartridge as you remove it.

5.Remove the small plastic safety tab on the bottom of the compatible cartridge and then slip it into the cartridge holder. Make sure it's oriented in the same direction as the removed cartridge. The small electric chip on the end of the bottom or the cartridge should point towards the rear of the printer when you lower the cartridge into place. There will be a clicking sound as the cartridge reaches its correct placement position.

6.Close the cartridge cover and then close the lid of the printer. Wait for about 2 1/2 minutes for the printer to return the printer head to the ready position, and to prime the cartridge for use before printing.
