As Jovy Systems is genuinely committed to making your rework process trouble free. Our BGA Rework stations Re-7500 and Re-8500 are equipped with different types of PCB holder that is a tool to firmly hold the PCB board while soldering or repairing.

Why the packages of Re-7500 and Re-8500 include "PCB Holder"? Mainly to avoid PCB's warping or sagging during rework process; Lead free applications require high range of temperature for reworking or repairing, during the heating process the PCB might be sagged or warped. PCB`s warping, is particularly noticeable in thin PCBs such as those used in mobile applications, portable game consoles and thin PCB board for laptop. Now large or small PCB board can be handled without problems thanks to PCB holder. PCB holder offered by Jovy Systems: Jovy PCB holder is considered as one of the essential add-on for both RE7500 and RE8500. Jovy Systems provides 3 kinds of PCB holder to meet the widest range of PCB board and to support applications and tooling requirements.  It is recommended even in leaded applications to protect the PCBs from damage during reworking with high temperature. PCB holder types and codes: * First type is (JV-SSU) Small scale PCB holder which holds the small and odd shape PCB board from any of its edges with the holder hinge to be used for small PCB.  JV-SSU can be used with both X-Y tables JV-002 and JV-004 * Second type is (JV-LSU) Large scale PCB holder which holds the large PCB board; regular and irregular shapes from the bottom side with four main pins. This Type is designed to be used with RE-7500 X-Y table only. * Third Type is (JV-LSU8) Large scale PCB holder which holds the large PCB board; regular and irregular shapes from the bottom side with four main pins. This Type is designed to be used with RE-8500 X-Y table only.   P.S:  1, Irregular and odd PCBs could need both types of PCB holder together. 2,Re-7500 package includes 2 JV-SSU and 1 JV-LSU. 3, RE-8500 package includes 2 JV-SSU and 1 JV-LSU8 Material of the PCB holder: Aluminum for small scale supporter JV-SSU and stainless steel for the Large scale supporters JV-LSU and JV-LSU8 How to fix PCB holder on the X-Y table? *Steps to follow to fix JV-LSU or JV-LSU8: 1, Assemble the base with the two hinges. 2, Tighten the stopper screw which hold the base with X/Y table axis   *Steps to follow to assemble and fix JV-SSU: 1, Assemble the Hinge with the Rod 2, Tighten the two screws for the Hinge 3, Prepare the base to be attached with the Rod. 4, Use the base screw to attach the base. 5, Assemble the base and put the washer. 6, Tighten the screw with the butterfly nut 7, Tighten the PCB holder's in the base to be fixed later with X/Y table axis.   The supporters for Re-7500 are highly recommended to be used during rework process and in the applications according the below table:     Item pictures
