Automatic Changover Switch Transfer Switch

RP6E Series double power automatic transfer switch is used in AC 50/60Hz,rated voltage below 690V Two power supply system.It can make a automatic transfer between the common power and backup power but without manual operation.This switch accords with the following terms of national GB/T14048. 11 <<automatic transfer switch>>standards:

Operating mechanism have reliable electrical and mechanical interlocking, in order to prevent concurrent access to the common power and backup power.

RP6E,when the voltage of detected A phase and all the phases of the common power interrupt in a scheduled time, will switch to connect the load from common power to backup power, and when the common power goes back to normal,it will automatically connect the load to the common power(with phase failure protection function)

Technical Specification

The working voltage is 220V of switch controller

The Switch mechanical life(N-R-N circulation) is 5000 times

The switch has operating handle, as emergency manual operating switch using. (using in the condition of blackout)

It Has three steady working states:

State 1: common power switch on, standby power off;

State 2: common power switch off, standby power on;

State 3: common power off, standby power off;

N is the common power ,R is the backup power. Qn is circuit breaker for the common power , Qr is circuit breaker for the backup power. Between of them,there is Mechanical interlocking double protection. The controller consist of four parts :voltage identify, phase failure protection,,control. voltage identify and phase failure protection connect the input terminals of the common power. When the common power is normal,RP6E switch work in automatic gearshift,no matter what state the Qr are, Qr is off and Qn is on to insure the common power switching on the load. When the common power has problem (such as loss of voltage, undervoltage, phase failure),in a certain period of time,RP6E switch will make the load connect the backup power from the common power. When the common power return to normal,then the switch will make the load connect the common power

The Molded case circuit breaker of the RP6E switch can be 3 poles or 4poles,can be automatic or manual operation and can realize the load changing-over automatically or compulsively.According to the demand of customers,the common power indication,the backup power indication, the common power tripping indication and the backup power tripping indication all connect from external terminals which lead to control panel.

This series automatic transfer switch plots simple,no need to draw up secondary connection diagram, soconvenienceproject design greatly. Outer wiring diagram shown below (indicator using AD1 AC220V specifications)
